It starts with a phone call:
When you or someone you love is experiencing emotional, behavioral or addictive disease problems, it’s hard to know what to do. Parkwood offers a no-charge assessment to help you determine what is needed and what the next step should be.
To schedule a no-charge assessment, or referral to another appropriate provider, call 1-800-477-3422 (24 hours a day/7 days a week).
What is an assessment?
Your call will be answered by a trained assessment coordinator who will ask a few questions in order to determine how to schedule your assessment, or refer you to another appropriate provider. During the assessment, a mental health professional will help you determine the next appropriate step for you.
What happens next?
Based on information obtained during your assessment, you may be referred to a therapist, psychologist, psychiatrist or other mental health professional for outpatient treatment, intensive outpatient treatment, partial hospitalization or inpatient treatment. In any case, you and your family will participate in deciding which level of care is the most appropriate for your individual circumstances.
