Individuals may be referred for an assessment to any Parkwood Behavioral Health System program by a general practitioner, psychiatrist, psychologist or other mental health professional. Inquiries may also be made by family members or patients themselves by calling 662-895-4900. During the assessment, a mental health professional will work with you to determine the next appropriate step.
Programs are offered on various schedules such as days, evenings, weekends and combinations of these. Following an assessment, we recommend treatment options that seem most appropriate based on the patient’s needs. Because some programs are used as a transitional step between an initial crisis and re-entry into daily life, a patient may be phased into a shorter duration of treatment than normal.
Parkwood Behavioral Health System’s continuum of care is designed to make behavioral health care available at different levels of need. It is easy to access the full range of Parkwood’s levels of care.
When you or someone you love is experiencing emotional, behavioral or addictive disease problems, it is hard to know what to do. That’s why Parkwood Behavioral Health System offers a no-charge assessment to help you determine what is needed and what the next step should be.
