Children’s Outpatient Programs

Our children’s Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) and Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP) provide therapeutic outpatient mental health services for children who do not require inpatient treatment but need more intensive care.

What Is Our Partial Hospitalization Program?

Children’s PHP and psychiatric care provide therapeutic services for children ages 7 to 11 who do not require inpatient treatment but need more intensive care than an outpatient program. The program is a day treatment option offered in a structured environment. It is run by behavioral health professionals who specialize in child care.

What Is Our Intensive Outpatient Program?

Children’s IOP offers group therapy for children ages 7 to 11 who require more than weekly therapy for mental health issues. It can also serve as a step-down for patients leaving a more intensive setting. The program is for children with a wide range of behavioral health challenges that may or may not include co-occurring substance abuse.

When do outpatient programs take place?

  • PHP: Monday through Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
  • Intensive Outpatient: Evenings on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Fridays.
  • Virtual Intensive Outpatient: Monday through Friday 5:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.
